THIS week, Coleraine's Mr Pantomime SEAN MAGEE opens his Treasure Chest for us.
Sean is well known for his links with the Bann Rowing Club, the Provincial Players and the Coleraine Majorettes as well as countless local amateur drama productions.
Sean said: "Having been in some 30 pantomimes I have found myself shipwrecked in some rare places, like Neptune's Domain and many desert islands so I am aware of the trials and
tribulations involved.
"There may be pirates, ghosts, hula girls, cannibals, Tarzan, and with any luck Bo Derek, so I am well prepared."

1. Portrait of my wife
I would take a large black and white portrait of my wife Trudie. The island will not feel so lonely if she is about and it will encourage me to find a way to get back home.

2. A picture of my parents
I would take a picture which I have of my mother and father with the rest of my family.
Looking at it will remind me that they have taught me to be patient and have given me most of the self-discipline and survival skills required to cope with most situations.

3. A picture of my mother-in-law
On this island, I can expect to face adversity so to combat this I will include a picture of Trudie's mother seated in her wheelchair. As I got to know her I realised that she was someone who had shown great faith and courage to face up to adversity in a calm, charming and pleasant way. This will inspire me.

4.Generator
Oops I nearly forgot I must fit a wee generator for electric into the Treasure Chest and some fuel.

5. DVD players
Being able to turn off and relax and forget my problems would be essential so to help me I will bring a DVD player complete with a screen and a recording of Portrush Music Society's Calamity Jane with Maria Graham, playing Calamity.
Maria's performance in that show was a pleasure to watch, I could not help but relax as I watch it.

6. A4 refill pads
I better have some A4 refill pads and some pens with me for I expect I will have plenty of time to write my book.
Well, I should write a book based on growing up in Coleraine and there are always some new pantomimes to write, say, Robinson Crusoe, Peter Pan, Jack and the Beanstalk to name a few.

7. Photograph of the Bann and the Boathouse
I must take another photograph with me, this time one of the Bann and the Boathouse.
As I look at it, memories will flood back of the many happy seasons that I had rowing for Bann, Coleraine Regatta Day and of course the wonderful Saturday night dances in the Boathouse. Little did I know that when I joined the Rowing Club it would be at the dances that I met Trudie.
Lots of memories in this picture.

8. Coleraine Majorettes photo album
More photos - this time my album covering the achievements of the girls in Coleraine Majorettes.
In 1991 the Majorettes travelled with me over to the Isle of Man for a full week of competitions against English clubs.
For the Coleraine girls it was to be their first ever marching and baton twirling event and nobody gave them a chance but I had faith in them.
At the end of the week they returned to Coleraine with every single trophy in the competition.
I was so proud of them all and the memory of their great fighting spirit, dedication and ability to succeed will definitely encourage me.

9. Irish Guards DVD
On this lonely island, there will be moments when I might feel afraid.
To cope with such situations I will take a DVD of the Irish Guards playing Killaloo.
Their rousing rendition of it will bolster my courage should I meet pirates, ghosts or cannibals.

10. Hearts of Gold badge
The last item...could I not have more?
It is said that we all have a guardian angel so I would need some reminder of my guardian angel, Pamela Dunne.
Pam knew of the hours that I spent on pantomimes, at the Rowing Club, helping with the majorettes and doing other things as well.
So she, along with others and majorette coach Sharon, decided - quite unknown to me - to contact Esther Rantzen and suggest that I appear on her programme Hearts of Gold.
They got their wish and I found myself, the majorettes and parents and some pantomime cast over in London for the making of the show.
To me it was like a series of flashbacks of my life, a lovely memory to cherish so I would have to take my Hearts of Gold badge with me.
