THIS week we asked PEARL DOOLEY from Coleraine Football Club's Academy for a peek inside her handbag.

THIS week we asked PEARL DOOLEY from Coleraine Football Club's Academy for a peak inside her handbag.

Pearl works in administration in the University of Ulster's Research office, but in her spare time she has a number of roles in the Coleraine FC Academy.

Pearl and her trusty team of helpers sign each of the Academy's children in on a Saturday morning for the soccer school, but the mother of two is also Assistant Treasurer of the Academy.

"My weekends are just dominated by football. If I'm not watching my son Stephen playing for Coleraine or Owen for the 1995's I'm involved on the administration side of things with the Academy," explained Pearl.
So, what did we find inside Pearl's handbag:

1.Mobile phone
This has a variety of uses. I use it for the radio to listen to the football scores and of course for talking, I'm not really a texter.

2. Whistle and match card
I have a variety of football things inside my handbag, really because James, my husband, will forget small things like match cards and a whistle, so I tend to bring the essentials with me.

3. Glasses
My essential item. If I don't wear glasses or contact lenses I can't see a thing.

4. County Milk Cup brochure.
I sit on the County Londonderry Milk Cup committee so I tend to carry this brochure around incase I meet any potential sponsors, hint hint!

5. Keys
For home, work and the car - all on the one keyring – weights a ton.

6. Purse
It's got all the usual things plus lots more including stamps, hair appointment slip, dry cleaning slips, blood donor card. Actually it doesn't close properly any more.

7. Coleraine FC entry card
This is my entry card for the Showgrounds, which means, because I'm involved with the Academy, I get free entry into games.

8. Tape measure
I find that when I'm buying clothes for the boys different brands have different fits, so the tape measure always comes in useful. We have over 300 players at the academy so it comes in useful for sizing them for kit.

9. Battery
For my car key. I've been caught out before, so it's better to be safe than sorry

10. Lodgement book, spreadsheets
For the Academy - I tend to have all this stuff for my role as Assistant Treasurer of the Academy

11. Lottery ticket
I'm in charge of doing the lottery for work, if I forgot to do it my workmates would go crazy!
