A NORTH Coast business has been making a splash in France.

Portrush Sea Tours travelled to France to join Tourism Ireland for ‘Mahana Toulouse’, a regional holiday promotion which attracts over 21,000 people each year.

Visitors to the promotion included French travel writers, tour operators and travel agents, as well as many thousands of potential holidaymakers living in and around Toulouse looking for ideas and suggestions for their next short break or holiday destination.

The three-day event provided a valuable opportunity for the participating companies to showcase their product and to communicate what is unique about the Causeway Coast and Northern Ireland as a holiday destination.

Derry~Londonderry UK City of Culture, and the many other festivals and events taking place here this year, were a major focus on the Tourism Ireland stand at this year’s Mahana Toulouse.

Billy Condon, Tourism Ireland’s manager for Southern Europe, said: “Our presence at Mahana Toulouse was an excellent opportunity to spread the word about all the great things to see and do on the Causeway Coast and across Northern Ireland.”
