Roof tiles stolen

POLICE are investigating the theft of roof tiles from a house in the Moneycarrie Road area of Garvagh.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between Monday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 6.

The house had been derelict for over two years, but is currently being renovated.

Police believe that the back door of the house was also taken off during the incident.

Anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area or noticed items being removed is asked to contact police at Coleraine on 0845 600 8000.
