Special event for Garvagh women!

THE Community Foundation for Northern Ireland is inviting women in the Garvagh area to an event in the GADDA Building next Thursday, January 31.

It will be a chance for local women to try a wide range of activities ranging from arts and crafts to advice about returning to education options.

There will also be reflexology, health and well-being advice, jewellery making and volunteering advice.

Karin Eyben, Community Engagement Worker at the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland, said: “We’re asking women to leave the kids to

your partner; leave instructions for the tea and washing up; close the front door, pick up a friend on the way and come along.

“There will be plenty of things to have a go at whilst having a bit of fun”.
