THE Irish football association have annouced the first of three IFA Premiership games of the new 2008/08 season to be shown live on SKY Sports.
The first confirmed SKY Sports IFA Premiership match of the 2008/09 season is Cliftonville v Linfield on Monday, October 27(kick off 7.45pm).

The second SKY Sports match of the season is Ballymena United v Newry City on Monday, November 10 (kick off 7.45pm).
Glentoran v Cliftonville will be the third match, played on Monday, November 17(kick off 7.45pm).

Last season five Irish League games were shown live on SKY Sports and were extremely well received by viewers, supporters, and clubs.

It is hoped that this positive feedback will continue in the new season, and that coverage on SKY's international platform will help to raise and develop the profile of the IFA Premiership.

The remaining SKY Sports matches in the IFA Premiership contract will be announced in due course.
