A HAT-TRICK from Lauren Wade helped Coleraine Ladies to their first victory of the season last Thursday night.
Alison Nicholl's side met St Matt's in the Davisons Frudles Championship league, and Coleraine ran out thrilling 5-4 winners.
Nicholl was delighted with the performance: "It was a well deserved win.
"The girls all played very well, I just hope that the win now gives the girls a boost, and we can start picking up points."
Coleraine started well, Lauren Wade had the first chance of the game, but the visiting keeper narrowed the angle and Wade's shot went just wide.

This was a sign of things to come, as Coleraine dominated the early stages.
Emma Murphy had a good chance to open the scoring after some good play by Wade.
It was the visitors however who took the lead on their first break, a hopeful ball found the St Matt's striker who made no mistake to beat Karri Nicholl in the Coleraine goal.
Coleraine were not behind for long, Lauren Wade making mistake this time to equalise.

The St Matt's keeper then made a number of good saves to keep the scores level.
St Matt's took the lead again against the run of play, but Coleraine hit back soon after this time Alison Nicholl struck a powerful right footed drive from the edge of the box.
The second half was much the same as the first with Coleraine having plenty of chances, but the Showgrounds girls were unable to convert any of them.

Debutant, Lesley Ann Dunn, made her mark on the game when she hit home from close range to give her side the lead for the first time.
Within minutes, the visitors were back on level terms, after a defensive mix up by Coleraine.
Coleraine defender Becky Naylor was forced off with a shin injury and the pack was shuffled in a bid to get back on top.
Lauren Wade grabbed her second goal of the game when she made the most of an error by the St Matt's keeper.

St Matt's scored again to make it 4-4 and as the final whistle approached, Wade proved to be the hero as she completed her hat-trick in the last kick of the game to give Coleraine a fantastic victory.
