Big Telly bring Victorian-style theatre to Kilrea

Cosmonauts land in Kilrea today (Wednesday), as part of The TOM Project, a Big Telly mission to bring theatre to rural towns.

Over the next four weeks, four actors, twenty four characters and a converted horse box will turn up where you’d least expect and launch random acts of theatre on an unsuspecting public.

The horse box/miniature Victorian theatre is like a tardis from which actors emerge in a range of disguises and into which passersby pop to share jokes and stories.

Part of Big Telly’s Spring Chickens programme celebrating the creativity of older people, the company are especially on the lookout for older men who want to get involved.

The crew will be at the Llivestock Mart in Kilrea today (Wednesday) January 30.

For more information follow the TOM tour schedule on twitter @BigTellyNI or view www.big-telly.com.
