Traks to pay tribute to Michael Jackson
PORTRUSH nightspot, Traks will be paying tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, this weekend.
On both Friday and Saturday, Traks will be featuring some special Michael Jackson mixes.
Brian Moore tells us: "I regret that Michael Jackson became embroiled in scandal, because he made absolutely fabulous music.
"That said, it will be the music that he is remembered for and we'll be celebrating that this weekend.
The Station Square venue have big plans for both the locals and holiday makers this summer. We'll bring you more details next week.
Brian Moore kicks off this weekend with 'Sets Appeal' this Friday.
He'll be playing a mix of commercial classics, and don't forget there's FREE admission before 10.30.
On Saturday it's 'Independence Night' and there's 2 discount before 11.00 if you're in your beachwear!
"When we think of clubbing in America we tend to think of sun-kissed beaches in Florida, surfers and the like' so we're encouraging all to dress accordingly – it's summer, after all' and we've been blessed with some great weather and rumours of more to come," says Brian Moore.
Salsa fans are reminded that Salsa returns next Thursday, July 9 at Shunters.
There's a beginners class at 8, then improvers at 9pm, and then a salsa party to take everyone through to the early hours.
