Rev Brown installed at Terrace Row
THE Rev Andrew W.T. Brown was installed as Minister of Terrace Row Presbyterian Church, Coleraine, on Friday evening.
The service was carried out by the Presbytery of Coleraine and Limavady with Rev John Coulter as Acting Moderator.
Rev Mark Donald preached the sermon and the Church choir sang an inspired version of Amazing Grace under the leadership of Mr Richard McCreery. The Rule of Faith was declared by Rev Ivan Hunter, Clerk of Presbytery. The Prayer and Act of Installation were carried out by the Acting Moderator. The Rev Jim McCaughan, Convenor of Vacancy, brought the Charge to the Minister and Congregation.
A large crowd of family and friends joined with the congregation of Terrace Row for what was a very meaningful and reverent Service of Installation.
After the Service greetings were brought to Rev Brown from Rev John Coulter, Mr Christopher Rowe, Clerk of Session of Churchtown Presbyterian Church and Mr Tom Gilliland, Clerk of Session of Terrace Row.
Rev Andrew Brown replied outlining his life’s journey which had brought him to Terrace Row.
A delicious supper was then served by the ladies of Terrace Row in the church halls.
