Now in its fifth year, Atlantic Sessions on the North Coast will take place from November 8-11 in venues throughout Portrush and Portstewart, with satellite events in Portballintrae, Castlerock and The Listening Post Coleraine.

Council is proud to support this event which has become a permanent feature on the cultural calendar and is a ‘go to’ event for musicians and music lovers.

More than 40 live music acts including Master and Dog; The Farriers; The Emerald Armada; Seven Summits; Paddy Nash and the Happy Enchiladas; Ciaran Lavery; Ben Glover; Rachel Austin and a range of well known local artists will perform a mix of acoustic, traditional, electric and contemporary original music throughout the four days.

Katie and the Carnival is the musical project of musician and actress Katie Richardson and her band. Known for their energetic and engaging live performances, their music is soulful and harmony-driven with influences from folk, pop, jazz, rock and a little bit of dark cabaret!

Born from a love of breaking from the norm and following their hearts, Ard Ri are a band of musical vagabonds, showcasing a brand of folk music unique only to their time and setting. The band is a voice for their generation, shouting loudest and clearest when people are listening closest.

Council wishes to thank the Anchor and the Listening Post for their ongoing support of the event.
