YOU heard it here first - Van Morrison is coming to Dunluce Castle.

As we exclusively revealled back in February the 700-year-old medieval fortress on the north coast, will provide a stunning backdrop for two concerts next month.

One of Northern Ireland’s top tourist attractions, Dunluce Castle has been the scene of countless bloody battles and sieges throughout its colourful history.

But its historic walls - home to some of Ireland’s most important rulers down the centuries - will reverberate with the world-renowned tones of the 67-year-old Brown Eyed Girl singer on June 7 and 8.

The gig is a dream come true for the legendary Northern Irish performer.

This week we can reveal that the castle will be lit up especially for the two day event.

The event in association with Exile Productions and Glenarm Castle is supported by Coleraine Borough Council and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency.

We’ve got TWO tickets to giveaway to the event on Friday, June 7.

All you have to do to enter is answer this question: Name the historic Northern Ireland castle where Van Morrison is set to perform?

Send your answer plus your name, address and daytime telephone number to

Van Morrison competition, 5 Stone Row, Coleraine, BT52 1EP

Entries must reach us no later than Monday, May 29 at noon.

Editor’s decision is final.
