CAUSEWAY Enterprise Agency won the "best group stand" award at Ireland's most prestigious craft and gift fair.
Held annually in Dublin, “Showcase” is an internationally renowned four day trade fair which exists to display work by the country’ s most talented crafts people.

Jayne Taggart, Chief Executive of CEA, is understandably excited by this latest acco
lade. “With over 600 exhibitors showing their ranges of high quality product we were delighted to be selected to win this coveted award,” said Jayne.

“Our exhibitors worked very hard before and during the show and they richly deserved the recognition which they won.”

CEA is no stranger to success at such events but this is the largest feather in their cap to date.

Nine companies from across the north west of the Province were represented on the stand seven of them making their debut at Showcase.

Limavady based textile artist Andrea Hayes picked up an Index award for the quality of her work. Her fellow exhibitors all expressed themselves very pleased with their individual sales.

They included Coleraine based company Jayne Morris Creations, showing her unique range of candlewraps and exclusive hand crafted jewellery and Adam Frew, hand thrown contemporary table ware ceramics, Deirdre O’Callaghan of ceramics company DOCPOT; potter Stephen McGuigan; John White, handcrafted ceramics ; Aine Clarke, handcrafted children’s knitwear and Emer O’Sullivan, ceramicist.
