"Controlling Crowds" has already been deemed Archive's "greatest and most unparalleled" work to date and will help to maintain Jayne's high profile in yet another area of the entertainment world.

"Shane Ritchie was hilarious and really lovely too. I play a Northern Irish character in the show, so you won't miss me," joked Jayne.

It is also reported that Jayne will appear later in the year in Channel Four's youth series "The Inbetweeners".
