LOCAL companies, Euro Components, Education, Recruitment and Marketing and McCauley Trailers are reaping the benefits from participating in Invest Northern Ireland's E2 programme.
Launched in July 2006, Invest NI’s E2 Programme is designed to recruit talented graduates and partner them with local organisations to develop export opportunities in markets outside of Northern Ireland. To date 100 Invest NI client companies have si
gned up to the programme and have succeeded in achieving their export goals with the help of over 140 graduates.

Recently completing their Export Development Projects through the E2 programme are Michelle Bloomfield, from Coleraine, with Euro Components, Harriet Kinkead, from Portrush, with Education, Recruitment and Marketing and Sinéad Geraghty, originally from Dublin, with McCauley Trailers. Part of a group of 16 graduates, Michelle, Harriet and Sinéad attended the ‘Final Day Presentations’ and presented an overview of their projects to host companies and Invest NI representatives.

The initiative provides marketing and export training for graduates from all degree backgrounds. Training is accredited by the Marketing Institute of Ireland and is designed to develop the personal and professional skills necessary for a graduate to implement an Export Development Project on behalf of their host company.

Graduates interested in securing a place on the programme should contact Vickki Marshall at Parity on 0845 873 9695 or e-mail v.marshall@parity.net .

Companies interested in participating in the programme should contact Elaine McQuillan on (028) 9045 2777 or e-mail elainemc@envision-ni.co.uk
