CAUSEWAY Specialist Market will welcome a specialist in Canadian canoes and crafts to Coleraine town centre this Saturday.
John Wilkinson of Valkyrie Craft, will be happy to talk to anyone interested in canoeing.

John told the Times: “I specialise in wooden canoe building, which is the main focus of the business. Each one is bespoke and built to order.

“I am originally from Australia but have been living in Coleraine for twelve years and the business has been running now for two-and-a-half years in the Castlerock area.

“Business mainly comes from the internet [through] info@valkyriecraft.com or from those visiting my workshop as I do not have a shop, so the chance to appear at the Speciality Market along with others from around Europe is a great opportunity.

“I will be giving advice on the types of canoes and accessories for each age group and ability, as this is a great family activity”.

Saturday’s market runs from 9am to 2.30pm.
