Tributes have been paid to the two school friends killed by a suspected gas leak in an apartment in a Castlerock apartment.
The boys were found in the property where they had enjoyed a holiday with another friend ahead of their A-level exam results.

Aaron Davidson and Neil McFerran, both 18, were discovered by their fathers who had rushed from Newtownabbey on Tuesday evening when the friends failed to respond to repeated phone calls.

Aaron's father George said his son was a "good, decent lad who never missed a day at school right up to this day".

Mr Davidson bravely recounted the desperate attempts to get inside the locked apartment.

"I tried to force a window open but eventually had to smash the glass and then help Neil's dad to get in after covering up some of the broken glass," he said.
"We found Aaron slumped on a settee ... Neil was lying on the kitchen floor."

Their 18-year-old friend is still being treated in hospital.

The block of flats has been sealed off as tests continue.
