The main sponsor of the North West 200 has paid tribute to racing legend Robert Dunlop.
Speaking on behalf of the Kennedy Group, Alistair Kennedy, said: "Robert Dunlop's tragic and untimely death has come as a massive shock to us all.

"He was one of the finest roadracers ever to compete in the NW200 and a tremendous ambassador for the sport both here and across the world.

"As sponsors of the NW200 we feel very privileged to have had a close working relationship with Robert.

"He was always extremely generous with his time and unstinting support. His big personality, humour and racing prowess will be sorely missed by motorcycle enthusiasts and the general public alike.

"On behalf of the Kennedy family, I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Robert's wife Louise, children William, Daniel and Michael and the wider family circle."
