TICKETS are selling well for the event of the summer - the 'LIVE in Portrush' concert at East Strand car park on Saturday, June 14.
The concert will feature one of the UK’s biggest live acts and Grammy award winners, The Chemical Brothers (pictured) and a host of DJs and live acts.

The excellent bill will feature an array of chart-topping international acts and DJs including F
edde LeGrand (Put Your Hands Up for Detroit/The Creeps), Eric Prydz (Call on Me, Pryda) Utah Saints (Something Good 08), DJ Steve Angello and Chemical Brothers’ tour DJ James Holroyd.

The Chemical Brothers - Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons - are credited as being one of the few truly arena-sized electronic acts.

They have played at many major festivals, from Glastonbury to Reading and currently hold the record for most gigs performed in a year at London’s Brixton Academy.

Their album, ‘Push The Button’ and single ‘Galvanize’ won a Grammy at the Grammy Awards two years ago and they also had a major top ten hit with perhaps their most well-known single ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl.’

The festival-styled event will run from 3pm until 11pm and will feature a host of special additions to the event, including funfair rides.

Tickets for the concert are available at Ticketmaster outlets nationwide priced £36 plus booking fee. A limited number of special VIP tickets will also go on sale priced £59, plus booking fee. For online bookings go to www.ticketmaster.ie. 24-hour ticket hotline number is 0870 2434455.
