Twelve photographers - including one from Coleraine - have had their work awarded and celebrated at Belfast City Hall as part of Ulster Wildlife’s ‘Nature Matters’ Photography Competition.

. The competition, which called for photographers of all ages and abilities, to capture Ulster’s amazing wildlife and wonderful wild places, was judged by a panel of experts with an over-all winner picked through an online public vote. The winning photographs are on public display in Belfast City Hall until September 20.

Among those in the exhibition is Adam Davidson, from Coleraine, whose work, Nudibranch, won the Under Water category.

The exhibition, sponsored by Bombardier Aerospace and supported by Ulster Wildlife Ambassador Jenny Bristow and guest speaker, Tony Juniper, well-known environmentalist and author of acclaimed book, “What has nature ever done for us?”, will offer visitors to Belfast City Hall the opportunity to see how these talented photographers have captured Ulster’s very unique wildlife and places.
