ALCOHOLICS Anonymous will be hosting a public information meeting in Portstewart.
The meeting, this Thursday, November 12, in the Minor Town Hall will start at 8pm.
The event is aimed at highlighting how the AA works with people who suffer from alcohol problems.
The meeting is open to all in the community who are interested in the problems of the suffering alcoholic.
Two members of AA will share what it is like and what happened when they were drinking and what life is like for them now in their recovery programme with AA.
Also present will be a speaker from the fellowship of Al Anon. A doctor will also provide a medical view on the effects of alcoholism.
