POP princess Alexandra Burke flew into Northern Ireland last week to promote her appearance at ‘Live at the Beach’ in Portrush later this month.
The former X Factor star chatted and posed for photographs and signed merchandise for fans. Alexandra spoke to local radio stations about her Portrush performance and her forthcoming album.
When she next steps foot in Northern Ireland, Alexandra will be performing alongside The Wanted, The Saturdays, Fugative and many more at ‘Live at the Beach’ at the East Strand on Saturday 25 June.
The concert, which runs from 4pm to 11pm, also plays host to a ‘festival village’ of colourful shops, stalls and food outlets, while younger guests are extremely well catered for with a multitude of activities including bouncy castles, face painting, giant inflatable slides and fun-filled adventures throughout the day.
Tickets, priced at £36.95 plus booking fees, are on sale now via www.ticketmaster.ie, www.plmpromotions.com/shop and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide. A limited number of family tickets (for up to four people) are also available for £133 plus reduced booking fees.
Translink are providing special travel arrangements for the showpiece event, including concert coaches from Europa Bus Centre, Belfast, and Foyle Street, Derry/Londonderry. As well as their existing scheduled train services to Portrush, Translink are also operating two late night concert trains to help people on their homeward journey.
