AOH parade in Ballycastle this Sunday

The AOH Antrim County Board parade will take place in Ballycastle this Sunday (August 14).

It is expectd that over 20 bands will attend the event attracting over 500 participants.

The start time is 2pm with the proposed route according to the Parades Commission website is: Assembling on the Coleraine Road at the Dalriada Hospital, into the Centre of Town, towards the Sea Front, turn left onto Beechwood Avenue, turn right onto Strand View, right onto North Street towards the Sea Front, to roundabout and up Quay Road to playing fields.

The end time of the outward route is 5pm.

Bands included are Gortrickey Accordion Band, Rosnashane Accordion Band, Randalstown Accordion Band, Cloney Flute Band, Cormeen Accordion Band, Derry City Flute Band, Desertmartin Accordion Band, Loup Flute Band,Ballinderry Flute Band, Draperstown Accordion Band, Aghaloo Pipe Band, Castlederg Accordion Band, Ardboe Central Flute Band, Kinturk flute Band, Glassdrumman Pipe Band, Feeny Accordion Band, St Nauls Pipe Band, Derrytrasna Pipe Band, Glen Accordion Band, Dungiven Accordion Band, Cobh Pipe Band, Sion Mills Pipe Band and St Mary’s Pipe Band.
