Coleraine Borough Council Arts Committee members Harry Cullen and Nigel Macauley have sent their congratulations to Big Telly Theatre Company.
The local group have been touring at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with their production ‘Melmoth of the Wanderer’ -a comedic tale with dark interludes.
Big Telly attracted positive reviews and filled audiences during many consecutive shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
The East Londonderry Conservatives are keen to stress the benefits of the Arts and Creative Industries to the local area through the Coleraine Arts Committee.
Harry Cullen said: “With Big Telly’s Culture Box premises on the Promenade proving to be a hive of activity and the future staging of their show ‘Melmoth the Wanderer’ at Portstewart Town Hall this company is a role model for others to follow suit in Northern Ireland.
Their engagement with local people is refreshing and appreciated by all who take part in a range of their productions and activities. I would encourage everyone to support them with their future endeavours.”
