An artist from Lisbane in County Down has handed over unique art work, that she was commissioned to paint for a local hotel. Kathryn Callaghan’s work will now be displayed in the Bushmills Inn hotel.
Two original works and two commissioned works will be displayed in the hotel, which is well known to golfers and visitors from across the globe. Among the works commissioned are Bushmills Millennium Malt and Mouton Rothschild 2001 both of which are original ink pourings.
Kathryn said: “I’m delighted that my work will now hang in the Bushmills Inn which is known across the world for its high quality hospitality and service.
“Knowing that visitors from near and far can see my work brings me great satisfaction and I look seeing these works completed.”
Bushmills Inn General Manager, Alan Walls said: “Kathryn’s unique and distinctive style matches the originality of the Bushmills Inn and we’re delighted that her work will soon hang in the hotel for all our guests to enjoy.
“This commission means we’re not only supporting a local artist, but also showcasing her work to the thousands of visitors who come through our doors every year.”
