Top coin a phrase he wasn’t just good, he was great. Causeway Chamber of Commerce hosted a business workshop with David Meade recently.

The TV mentalist wowed the Coleraine business community with an energetic session that “engaged and inspired delegates”, according to the Chamber.

His theme - Good to Great - drew from a range of top level research in leadership and innovation.

And he demonstrated how cutting edge innovative techniques could be used in local businesses to improvedecision making, communication, motivation, and leadership.

At the end of the session, delegates left with a sound toolkit that they can use to improve their own organisational productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency.

The BBC showman also recapped and refreshed on the many skills that he shared on his last visit with the Chamber, while also shedding fresh light on new research that can dramatically improve the way businesses can motivate, recognise and reward their staff.

Also attending was the new mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, councillor Michelle Knight McQuillan, who said: “Council is keen to support our local businesses and events like today’s provide a great opportunity for Council to do just that. The last few years have been tough for our local businesses, many of which have struggled to survive the austerity of recent years.

“Through initiatives such as Project Alchemy, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will continue to provide support and opportunities to help our local businesses to grow and expand”.

Afterwards delegates had the opportunity network and to speak with David about the topics he covered.
