LEADING local recruitment and personnel firm Riada Resourcing have had the quality of their work further endorsed by Investors in People.

Assessed under the new IIP criteria during their three-year review, Riada achieved a much-coveted Silver Award.

The assessors cited among other factors Riada’s welcoming work environment; their support and induction process; the high morale and level of motivation especially given the current economic situation; and the reward and recognition strategy available to staff.

Riada Resourcing, which employs 15 staff has its headquarters in Coleraine, with additional offices in Ballymena and Derry. They already held IIP recognition gained in October 2008.That has now been reassessed and upgraded against new criteria.

Frances Lundy, Partner at Riada Resources said: “This is a great tribute to the application and dedication of our staff.

“Our company is based around people. We work with other businesses to find people that suit their needs; we do it efficiently and with commonsense decency. It is great to have our approach recognized and endorsed by the Investors in People Silver Award.”

Frances and her management team were recognised for the role they play in developing new members of staff and for their hands on approach to leadership. Riada were also commended for the opportunities they offer their staff for career development and the scope for expanding individual team member’s roles.

The review noted management’s openness to suggestions and input from their staff. Frances added: “At the end of the day we are in the people business and that means treating people well and helping them do their job here in Riada or in our client businesses.”
