Busy summer ahead for Kilrea YFC

Kilrea YFC have brought to a close their activities for the Winter Season, during which they competed in the various competitions on offer, including their very commendable Arts Festivalperformance “Horse Play” produced by Janice Irwin.

Kilrea finished their year with their Annual Parents and Friends Night held in Kilrea Presbyterian Church Hall. A comprehensive account of the years activities was provided by outgoing club secretary Zara Leslie and trophies and proficiencies distributed to successful club members by Mrs. Pearl Hutchinson, who acted as Guest Speaker for the occasion. Following this the club members provided entertainment for the audience.

As they move now into their summer season, under the leadership of Adam McCormick and Kerri Thompson as secretary three teams took part in the County Londonderry quiz where they had great success.

Next on the agenda was the Dairy Judging competition were some of kilreas member competed. Well done to Robert Sloan and Timmy Davidson placed for getting placed.

As this is Kilrea YFC 70th anniversary year, other events are planned.
