Call to support Christmas Hope

CHRISTMAS Hope is Prison Fellowship’s annual project to send a Christmas card to each prisoner in Northern Ireland and to provide hampers and toys for families at a time of the year when prisoners’ relatives can feel alone, forgotten and under extra financial pressure.

Last year, with the help of many volunteers, 315 hampers and over 300 parcels of toys were packed and delivered, making a huge difference for many of these families.

Each hamper is worth at least £50 and is made up of basic items, on non-perishable foods like tinned items, peas/carrots, beans/spaghetti, soup/fruit, meat/pies, tea/coffee, jam/cereals, toiletries etc.

Christmas Hope depends on the generosity of individuals to provide groceries, if you would like to help there will be a collection point in the Sandel Centre from December 10-14 For more information contact Orrell on 02870354338.
