A unique piece of artwork made by the pupils to celebrate this special anniversary will be unveiled.

This piece of artwork has been part of a creative process that explores the school’s connections to local history, culture and environment in order to promote a sense of pride in celebrating the school’s 30 year history as the only integrated primary school in the north coast area.

Many local community groups and organisations are involved on the day of the Carnival including Portrush Theatre Company, Portrush Heritage Group, The Coastal Centre, the RNLI and Sustrans.

Mill Strand Parents’ Council wishes to invite everyone to come along to enjoy the procession starting at 2.30pm on the West Strand.

Additionally Mill Strand Parents’ Council would like to invite those involved with the school, past and present, to return with the Carnival to the school for the unveiling and festivities.
