Coleraine town centre has been given a major clean up in anticipation of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgb’s visit on Wednesday.
Coleraine Mayor, councillor George Duddy, who is hosting the reception at Coleraine TownHall, says: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for the residents of Coleraine and I hope everyone enjoys their day and this very special visit.
“My guests and I are extremely proud and honoured by the recognition which is being provided to us on this very poignant and special occasion.
““Coleraine Borough Council has been liaising with each and every business owner in Coleraine Town Centre in advance of this civic reception and have gone to every effort to decorate and prepare for this very special occasion”.
Delays are expected around Coleraine town centre during the event.
Shops will remain open as usual, however deliveries and vehicle access to pedestrianized zones have to be rescheduled.
