The brilliant Rodd Hogg is set to wow Coleraine audiences with his first ever“The Irish Magician” Show later this month.
The showman whose own Sky series is set to hit TV screens later this month, will take centre stage at the Lodge Hotel on Thursday, June 23.
Rodd (36) was “arrested” as part of the Caring Caretaker’s Jail & Bail fundraiser earlier this year - and promised something very special to raise his ‘bail’.
A dad of three, Rodd was only too happy to help Davy Boyle’s local charities.
“I’m humbled by the response since this went out on social media as the hotel have informed me they’ve had to allocate their largest room to this given the number of calls and demands for seats that they’ve had”.
Supplying the sound and visual effects on the night is Beatz International and the compere will be DJ Brian Moore.
“I’m planning a few tricks that I’ve never performed previously in this area but I’m hoping I won’t need to use any magic at all to raise donations to Davy Boyle’s great cause.”
As we revealedin March, Rodd’s forthcoming six-part TV show, The Irish Magician’ follows him across the British Isles where he entertains audiences with his inimitable brand of close-up magic and illusions. Filmed and produced by Donegal-based Jacksonsmediatv, the show will go out on the Irish TV channel on Sky 191 soon. Watch this space.
