BIG-HEARTED singer Curtis Magee has a lot to sing about these days.

With 27 albums and 10 DVDs on the market and a full diary of engagements, Curtis remains one of the busiest entertainers on the circuit today, but this popular young man still finds time in his busy schedule to help those in need by raising lots of money every year for various charities close to his heart.

Every June at his now highly acclaimed Fanfayre, fans and friends flock from all over the UK and Ireland, to join Curtis for four days of non stop entertainment at The Lodge Hotel in Coleraine.

During this fantastic festival of music, Curtis takes the opportunity to raise vast amounts of money for charity.

This year, he managed to raise the princely sum of £1,400 for two local charities Defibrillators for Coleraine Area Sport and Parkinson’s Disease.

Curtis said: “I get great pleasure from entertaining, it is what I do best but I also get tremendous satisfaction from giving something back to those who need it most.

“I pick different charities every year and over the past seven years of the Fanfayre I have managed to raise over £14,000.

“Of course, raising money is not possible without the support of the generous people who join me every year at my Fanfayre, because without their support and kind generosity I would not have been able to donate so much money to these various charities over the years.

“I look forward to next year’s Fanfayre in June and I will continue the good work for these worthwhile causes.”
