Diabetes UK holding meeting

Diabetes UK Northern Ireland has a number of local groups which meet regularly right across the province to offer support, advice and social activities for anyone impacted by or interested in diabetes.

If you, or someone you know, has Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes and you would be interested in finding out more then come along to the next meeting in Coleraine.

Diabetes UK Northern Ireland Volunteer Development Officer, Joji Min, said, “We would like to invite you to the Coleraine Diabetes UK Group meeting on Tuesday, September 23, 7.30pm – 9pm, at Rothesay Court, 33a Abbey St, Coleraine.

“It offers a great opportunity to meet new people who are going through similar circumstances as well as finding out the most up to date information relevant to people living with diabetes in Northern Ireland.

On the night there will be an update on driving with diabetes from Diabetes UK’s Policy and Public Affairs Manager, Brendan Heaney. This will be one of many topics which will be covered in the meetings. Please do get in touch if you would like to find out more about this or what Diabetes UK Northern Ireland can do for you.”

The event is free to attend and light refreshments will be provided on the evening.
