There were many delighted faces on Thursday 25 th August at Coleraine Grammar School when the year 12 pupils received their GCSE results.

Ninety pupils achieved at least 3A*/A grades in their exams.

Eighteen pupils received all A*/A grades and sixty five pupils attained at least one A* grade.

Two of the most outstanding sets of results were our top achieving girl, Holly Woodhead’s 10 A* grades and top achieving boy Calum Beggs' 9 A*s and one A. Laura Strawbridge and Anna Wallace also both achieved 9 A*s and one A grade.  Courtney Campbell achieved 8 A*s and 2 A grades, as did Ross Moore. Other excellent performances were Ruth Carson, Chloe Dalzell, Rebekah Rea and James Richmond who all attained 7A*s and 3 As in their results.

Furthermore, Calum Beggs, Laura Strawbridge, Ruth Carson, Chloe Dalzell, Rebekah Rea, James Richmond and Courtney Campbell all achieved an A* in Short Course RE, while Anna Wallace achieved an A grade in Short Course RE.

This outstanding collection of grades is a testament to the pupils’ hard work and dedication across the two years of their GCSE studies and they should be commended for their excellent marks. The names mentioned are a small sample of the students who performed impressively in their exams.
