COLERAINE Sure Start Partnership is delighted to launch their annual Pregnancy and Baby Fair.
The Fair was launched at local nursery retailer ‘Nursery Needs’ in Long Commons.
Tracey has been an exhibitor at the Fair for the past couple of years and brings along lots of prams and equipment for parents-to-be to try out.
The Pregnancy and Baby Fair will be held in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine, on Wednesday, February 23, from 4.30 to 7.30 and is open to the whole community – whether they live in a Sure Start area or not.
There will be a vast array of stalls and stands promoting the work of organisations that support families during the baby and early years’ stages as well as local retailers displaying their wares.
Bernie Carlin, one of Sure Start’s Health Visitors, said, “The Pregnancy and Baby Fair is open to anyone in the area who is pregnant or has recently had a baby. Come along and bring your partner, friend or mother. “With information stands and a wide range of local retailers, including some unusual giftware – there will be something for everyone. We even have a couple of pampering stalls and a number of workshops.”
The Fair is free to attend with a small donation requested to a local speech and language charity in recognition that 2011 is the Year of Speech and Language.
