EXCITEMENT is growing for the next Vineyard Car Boot Sale, Farmers Market and Craft Fair.
After a successful launch in July with 120 pitches and over 400 people in attendance, the upcoming event on Saturday 18th August is set to be another big day.
With 85 indoor stalls, more than 100 outdoor pitches and plenty of onsite car parking available to the public and local traders, the site at 10 Hillmans Way (off the Ballycastle Road), Coleraine is simply ideal. The online registration process at vineyardcompassion.co.uk has proved simple and effective with so many bookings that there are only a few indoor pitches still available.
The event runs from 9am – 1pm on Saturday 18th August and takes place on the third Saturday of every month. Sellers can set up their stalls between 8am and 8.45am. Other activities will include free face painting and a bouncy castle for the children and live music for everyone to enjoy. Hot food along with tea and coffee will be available at the event.
Ricky Wright, Director of Vineyard Compassion, explains: “Events like this generate a buzz in the borough, creating a unique sense of community and making it a welcoming, attractive place for shoppers to visit. We are not only hoping to attract people to the town but to also support our local food producers and crafters in a way that benefits the local economy.”
Ricky continues “It will be a brilliant opportunity for local traders and a fantastic experience for people living in or visiting Coleraine, while at the same time raising funds to help people who are suffering hardship right on our doorstep.”
A minimum donation of £5 per indoor stall is requested, bring your own table or there are a limited number of tables available to rent at £2 each. Outdoor Pitches are available for a minimum donation of £5 per car or £10 per van – trailers are an extra £5.
