Fancy being in Portrush panto? Oh yes, you do!

Portrush Theatre Company want to warm up your winter by transporting you to old Cairo town for their production of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

Returning to Portrush Town Hall in January 2018, this pantomime will make you sing, cheer and laugh out loud.

This tale from the Arabian Nights is about a poor family with dreams of becoming rich. The Spirit of the Desert weaves her spell (well it wouldn’t be panto without a little bit of magic), so that Ali Baba crosses paths with the villain of the show and his band of thieves.

Along the way there’s a magic cave with a super-secret password, clay pots with a few hidden surprises inside, a scary Egyptian mummy...it’s behind you! And don’t forget the dancing camel!

If you want to join in the fun, auditions for the main cast (over 16’s) will take place on Wednesday, June 14, at 7.30pm at Mill Strand Integrated Primary School, Portrush.

Auditions for the children’s chorus will take place in early September.
