Funeral for Kilrea man Ryan Bradley killed during rally to be held on Wednesday

The funeral of the Kilrea man killed during a car rally in Co Down on Saturday, will be held on Wednesday.

Ryan Bradley died after the car he was in crashed into a wall and plunged into a reservoir near Castlewellan.

In the days since his tragic death thousands of people have liked a speical tribute Facebook page, with hundreds leaving comments of sympathy and memories.

Mr Bradley was in his 20s and was a member of Magherafelt and District Motor Club.

Chairman of the club James McKeefry said they were devastated.

“It is devastating for anybody that knew Ryan and anyone from a rallying background. It is just devastatingly sad and we will try and help everyone through it.”

The funeral will leave his late residence on Wednesday (October 22) at 10 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Drumagarner near Kilrea.
