Coleraine’s Riverside Theatre opens on Thursday, January 15 with Ballywillan Drama Group’s latest Broadway blockbuster musical Hairpray.

And following hot on the heels of the show, the theatre has another fifty events for audiences, taking the new season through until July of 2015.

These include return appearances with new shows from the cast of Give My Head Peae, TV’s spectacular illusionist David Meade, singer Peter Corry performing music from the movies, comedian Jake O’Kane and – in A Riverside first – an appearance by the prestigious Portadown Male Voice Choir.

Students and children are catered for in several productions, such as state set-text Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers and a number of special shows for primary schoolchildren including The Adventures of Robin Hood and Scotland’s Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre performing tales of the giant, Finn McCool.

The theatre wishes to remind patrons and friends that there’s now a speedy, user-friendly way to secure your seats of choice for any event in Riverside by logging onto: http://tickets.riversidetheatre.org.uk/
