Halfords gave parents information on the new car seat legislation, Home Safety Officer David Adams from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council offered parents free blind safety clips, Tesco gave out a variety of snacks and Smyth’s Baby Needs gave advice on latest prams on the market.

Many other organisations were on hand to give guidance on mental health, debt advice, eye health and food banks.

The little ones got the opportunity to experience an example of Sure Start’s play activities that happen in their weekly programmes and home visits; a sensory starry lit dark den, homemade pasta music maker and a reading time comfy area.

Everyone got a welcome goodie bag filled with different treats for the family along with the chance to be entered into a prize draw. Thanks to everyone who came along and to all the stall holder organisations who took the time to set up and stay.
