THE summer holidays may only have ended but work has began on Coleraine Provincial Players’ latest production - Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
Auditions for the fun filled family show, which is sure to be packed with the Provincial Players’ usual magic and humour, will be held in Millburn Primary School this Sunday, Spetember 2nd from 4pm.
The local amateur dramatics group our hoping to build on the success of last year’s performance.
“Last year’s show was a massive success, with a large amount of positive feedback coming from the public and a great feeling of pride within the group,” said Chairman Philip Kelly.
“The public are going to be in for a treat in January. Having sat down with ‘Mr Panto’, Sean Magee, and gone over the script together we have a clear vision of what we want to see on the stage, now the hard part is for our producer Noeleen McAuley to deliver it.
“After Co-Producing with Sean last year, Noeleen takes over the reins herself this time around. She knows exactly what is required to make a great panto having played the lead roles down the years.
“So we would invite anyone to come along on Sunday who would be interested not only in audtioning for a part, but also to help out in our crew, we require everyone from Set builders to Booking Office.
“We will be giving everyone a run down on the cast parts up for auditions as well as an update on plans for the forthcoming show.
“Anyone wishing for their little ones to join our Fairy Troop should also come along. Places are limited to 15 and they must be no younger than Primary One age.”
