The day was divided into two halves. The first half of the day was dedicated to the Success Skills workshop which was facilitated by Young Enterprise. The aim of the workshop was to help the students develop essential skills and attributes required to deliver effective presentations.

Through this programme students learnt the importance of making a good first impression. They also learnt how to prepare for an effectively for interview.

After receiving such invaluable advice, it was then put into practice. Each student participated in a mock interview scenario facilitated by local business and further education volunteers.

After their interviews each student received constructive feedback about their performance. A huge thank you must be paid to all the volunteers who helped make this day such a success. The pupils too are to be congratulated on all of their efforts on the day, which will serve as a great help to them on their journey into the work place and beyond.
