The man who died in an industrial accident last week has been named as Victor Nicholl from the Kilrea area.
The Health and Safety Executive will now carry out an investigation to establish exactly how Mr Nicholl died.
Mr Nicholl, who was 62, was working at FP McCann’s quarry at Drumard Road not far from the village of Gulladuff when the accident happened on Friday.
It is understood Mr Nicholl had been driving a 60 tonne dumper truck shortly before the accident.
He was described as a hard working man who had been with the company for the past 19 years.
He was married and came from the Fallahogy district outside Kilrea.
