Police in Portstewart have renewed their appeal for information in relation to John McIlwaine, who has not been seen by family or friends since Wednesday 23 April.

Detectives have released a new photograph of John in an attempt to jog the memory of anyone who may have saw or spoke with him recently.

Fifty four year old John was last seen in the Strand Road area of Portstewart. He is from Belfast but has a holiday home in Portstewart. John is described as slim built, 6’1” in height, has a tanned complexion and has grey short hair which is balding around the crown.

John is a father of two and his family is growing increasingly concerned for him.

Anyone who has been in contact with John since 23 April, or who knows where he might be at present, is asked to contact Coleraine detectives the new non-emergency number 101.
