A security alert at a graveyard in the Laurel Hill Road area of Coleraine has now ended.
Police lifted the cordon at around 8:20am this morning (Wednesday 13 August).
Army Technical Officers attended the scene last night (Tuesday 12 August) and carried out a controlled explosion on what was believed to be an old style grenade. Forensic officers have also removed two handguns and a quantity of ammunition. These items will now be tested, but it is thought that they have been there for a considerable period of time.
