Action Cancer Positive Living Programme

ACTION Cancer is offering a series of Positive Living Programmes as an additional support tool for those people in the Coleraine area affected by a cancer diagnosis.

The next programme will be held in the Everglades Hotel in Derry /Londonderry on Saturday and Sunday January, January 26-27 from 9.30am to 4.00pm.

The charity’s two day programmes will use elements of life coaching, counselling and complementary therapy to assist those affected, and their families, to re-adjust to life with cancer, and equally importantly, life after cancer.

Karen Clarke, Positive Living Programme Officer for Action Cancer says: “The programme aims to help clarify any goals participants have for the future and to better manage their emotional wellbeing.

It will offer them a clearer sense of what they want for themselves and how they go about getting it. The programme is tailored to suit cancer patients, partners, family members and carers, so anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis is welcome to get in contact to book a place.”
