DAVID Platt's 're-development' of the Coleraine squad isn't the only building work going on around The Showgrounds this summer.
As we exclusively revealed several weeks ago a group of dedictaed volunteers have been working flat out refurbishing the Social Club in time for the big kick-off. And Times Sport went along last week to see how work was progressing - needless to say we were suitably impressed as our pictures show.
"It's been hard work but I have to say we are very pleased with how it's gone," said Committee Member Ivan Kyle.
"I can't thank everyone enough for all their hard work in helping us get this far, they've been superb. But in particular I have to say a big thank-you to local businessmen Billy Nicholl and Colin McKendry.
"Quite simply it wouldn't have been possible to do it without them."
Ivan also revealed that the club hope to have the whole complex open in early July, with a family atmosphere very much to the fore.
"We are a family club and we want that to continue throughout the Social club," he said.
"It's our plan to have Sky TV installed and to run functions for the fans. We are having an open night at the start of July for all the Supporters' Club and fans and if they have any ideas for the club they can let us know.
"Membership is 10 but anyone who buys a season ticket wll automatically become a member."
