Boxer dog stolen

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a male American boxer dog from the Causeway Coast Dog Rescue Centre on Long Commons, Coleraine.

On Thursday, a man and woman called at the premises, took the dog for a walk around the grounds and didn’t return it to staff.

The dog is described as being approximately three foot in height, of large, muscular build and is mainly white in colour, with light brown ears and light brown patches on its back.

It has a problem with its hind legs, which sit out at an angle. It is described as being of a gentle nature and is also micro-chipped.

The man who took the dog is described as being in his 20s and around six feet tall. The woman was described as having blonde hair in a pony tail.
