Coinage taken in suspected burglary

POLICE are investigating the suspected burglary of a house in the Ballycairn Road area of Coleraine.

Detectives believe that a significant sum of cash, made up in coins, was taken during the burglary on the evening of Saturday, February 23 and that the coinage was taken away in pillow cases.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area or who has any information can contact detectives at Coleraine Police Station on 0845 600 8000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
